Sitting Arrangement and Puzzle Easy Level
Questions (1-10)
1. Seven
persons, Umar, Om, Vivek, Wahid, Faizal, Ali and Bashir are sitting in a
straight line facing North (but not necessarily in the same order).Faizal sits
third from the right end.Om sits third to the right of Bashir, who is not an
immediate neighbour of Vivek or Umar, who sits third to the left of Wahid, who
is an immediate neighbour of Bashir. Faizal sits between Wahid and Om, who sits
on the immediate left of Vivek. Neither Om nor Ali sits at any end of the line.
There is only one person sits between Vivek and Faizal but that person is
neither Bashir nor Ali.
2. Vidya, Jaya,
Zinni, Sofia, Fatima, Bulbul, Somya and Archana are eight girls who are sitting
around a circular table but not necessarily in the same order. Some of them are
facing inside and some of them are facing outside. Vidya sits third to the
right of Archana. There are two girls sitting between Archana and Jaya. Zinni
sits second to the left of Jaya. There are three girls sitting between Jaya and
Fatima. Sofia is second to left of Bulbul, Who is not an immediate neighbour of
Vidhya. Immediate neighbours of Archana faces the same direction as Archana. Bulbul
sits third to left of Vidya, who faces centre. The immediate neighbours of
Vidhya face opposite to the direction of Vidya.

Eight persons A, C, G, H, J, L, P and T live on eight different
floors. Lowermost floor is numbered as 1, the above floor is numbered as 2 and
so on. Topmost floor is numbered as 8. Each one of them likes different colours
such as Red, Blue, Green, White, Yellow, Orange, Black and Pink. All the above
information is not necessarily in the same order. C lives either on the third
or seventh floor. Three people live between C and the one who likes Blue. T
lives above the one who likes Blue. More than three people live between T and
the one who likes Pink. H lives immediately below the one who likes Pink. C
neither likes Pink nor White. Two people live between L and the one who likes
White. As many people live above L as many as below G. G lives below the one
who likes White. G does not live immediately above C. One who likes Green lives
immediately below P. A lives below P. Two persons live between A and the one
who likes Blacks. J lives above the one who likes Black. Neither T nor P likes
Orange. P does not like Red.
4. Nine tiles
A, B, C, D, E, F, H, J and N are kept one above the other but not necessarily
in the same order. Tile N is kept third from the bottom. Only one tile is kept
between Tile N and Tile A. As many tiles kept above Tile A are kept below Tile
B. More than three tiles are kept between Tile C and Tile B. The Tiles kept
above Tile E are two less than the tiles kept below the Tiles J. Tile D is kept
immediately below Tiles E but not immediately above Tile N. Tile H is kept
above Tile F. Tile H is not kept second from the top.

There
are eight persons namely Parvez, Abdul, Wahid, Dilavar, Ali, Rehman, Shankar
and Nilesh sitting around a square table in such a way that four persons sit on
each of the four corners of the table and other four persons sit on the middle
of each side. All are facing towards the center. Two persons sit between Wahid
and Abdul. Shankar sits opposite of Dilavar. Nilesh sits second to the left of
Ali. Nilesh is immediate neighbour of Abdul. Ali is not facing Parvez. Abdul
sits at one of the corners of the table. Shankar sits second to the left of
Rehman.

There
are seven persons namely Bobby, Himesh, Salman, John, Aamir, Sonu and Randeep
born in different months of the same year but not necessarily in same order.
The months are viz. January, February, May, July, September, October and
December. Bobby was born in a month which has maximum number of days. Two
persons were born between Bobby and Aamir. Aamir was neither born in January
nor born in December. Salman was born in a month which has 31 days. Himesh was
born before Salman but not immediate before. Only one person was born between
Randeep and Salman. Sonu was born before Himesh but after John. More than two
persons were born after Aamir.
7.
There
are nine persons namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I sitting in a linear row
but not necessarily in same order. All are facing towards the south direction. Four
persons sit between A and B and one of them sit at extreme ends of the row. F sits
third to the left of A. The number of persons sits between G and H is same as the
number of persons sits between E and G. F is immediate neighbour of H. The number
of persons sits between H and A is same as the number of persons sits between G
and I. C is immediate neighbour of I. D does not sit left of H.
8.
There
are nine persons namely M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T and U sitting in a row but not
necessarily in same order. They are facing in both direction means some persons
face north and some persons face south. Facing opposite to each other means one
facing north then another facing south and vice-versa. N sits one of the
extreme ends of the row. There are three persons sit between N and R. O sits third
to the right of R. O is not an immediate neighbour of N. There are two persons
sit between T and P. T is facing south and O sits immediate right of T. P is
facing north and M sits second to the left of P. S sits immediate right of U and
facing opposite to each other. U and T face same direction. Q and M face same
direction but facing opposite of R. N faces south. S sits left of O and facing
opposite to each other. Not more than five persons facing south.
9.
There
are eight persons namely Hemant, Om, Ranbir, Suraj, Partap, Arjun, Sunny and
Romi sitting in a circular table but not necessarily in same order. All of them
face outside the center. They are sitting in such a way that each person
maintains equal distance from immediate neighbour. There are two persons
sitting between Hemant and Ranbir. Om sits third to the left of Romi. Only one
person sits between Om and Partap. There are two persons sit between Arjun and Suraj.
Romi is not an immediate neighbour of Partap. Sunny sits immediate left of
Partap. Hemant is immediate neighbour of Arjun. Ranbir is not an immediate
neighbour of Suraj. Neither Om nor Sunny sits opposite of Hemant.
10.
There
are eight girls namely A, C, M, K, G, R, H and J lives on eight different floors
in eight story building but not necessarily in same order. Bottom most floors
is 1st floor above it 2nd floor and so on. Similarly top floor is eighth floor.
R lives on even number floor. G lives two floors below of R’s floor. There are four
floors gap between H’s floor and C’s floor. M lives just below of C’s floor. C
does not live on top floor. Lives below of M’s floor. K lives above of J’s floor.
K does not live on top floor.
